About Grateful Goods
Grateful Goods is the creative world of Demian Klein—an artist shaped by experience, movement, and a lifelong connection to making something out of nothing.
It started in 1990 not in a studio, but in the parking lots of Grateful Dead shows. Before the concert even began, there was another world—one built by people creating, trading, and sharing freely. That world became the foundation. It was where Demian first learned that you don’t need permission to create—you just need to show up and contribute.
What began with handmade polymer clay jewelry and pipes grew into a deeper craft. Over time, Demian developed skills in glasswork, millefiori techniques, and functional art—eventually building a livelihood through creativity.
When an injury forced him away from glass, it opened the door to painting, photography, writing, and new forms of expression.
Grateful Goods brings all of that together.
This is not just one medium or one style. It’s a collection of everything created along the way:
Paintings shaped by experimentation and persistence
Polymer clay sculptures and cane work rooted in traditional techniques
Handmade silver jewelry and custom hat pins
Photography capturing moments, places, and perspective
Writing drawn from real experiences on the road
Music that continues to evolve with time
At its core, Grateful Goods is about freedom—the freedom to create, adapt, and keep moving forward.
It’s about learning through experience, building something from the ground up, and staying open to whatever comes next.
Everything comes from a place of lived experience, trial and error, and a deep connection to the process.
This isn’t just a collection of work.
